Welcome to Loners who Lunch!
When I was a little girl, my favourite time of the season was when my grandmother would invite her friends over for afternoon tea, gossip and card games. She would begin preparing a day in advance and make sure everything was made from scratch to her impeccable standards. I would be invited to join them once they had settled in the living room where they would pinch my cheeks and tell me how much I’d grown in the last few months. I always admired how fabulous they were. They were the original Ladies Who Lunch.
Fast forward a couple of decades later and I’m living alone abroad missing my grandmothers homemade cooking. Loners Who Lunch was born as a space where I can share my favourite recipes adapted to fit solo living.
